Rebirth resets progress in exchange for permanent boosts. That is the official description. It does not publish the multiplier per rebirth, the full list of what you keep, or a cash threshold.
Do not trust a single copied number
Some pages say the first reset costs $100,000. Others say the multiplier and the cost curve are unpublished and that you should read the panel. Those claims conflict, and the experience description does not pick a winner. When you open rebirth, the confirmation text in that server is the requirement that matters.
Community sessions do agree on a small gem payout of about 2 gems. That is not a gem farm.
Reset when several of these are true
- The next cash upgrades barely move income compared with their price.
- You already own the characters you need for the current goal, and duplicates are waiting on title trades you have either finished or chosen to pause.
- Gem-shop plans are bought or deliberately delayed.
- You are not mid-way through the 15-minute LARP quest or one climb away from Sun unless you accept losing that attempt.
- You have read what the panel says you gain and what it clears.
Wait when any of these are true
- Cheap, measurable cash upgrades are still unbought.
- You are close to Subaru specifically for the Sun climb.
- You just redeemed codes and have not looked at the gem shop.
- You have never spoken to the city title NPCs.
After the reset
Repeat the first-session order: LARP, one upgrade at a time, crates with a reserve, index gifts, the stay-in-LARP quest, then the gem shop. Set a one-line goal for the cycle, such as "claim Sun" or "learn Toji's dash," so the new multiplier has a job. Permanent boosts should make the early curve snappier. If they do not, the reset was early or a cash title was skipped.
Clash is not described as a rebirth gate. It is a separate contest. See Clash.
